Styling Finds, Helmut Newton, Gucci 2002 and DreamBox
These are sandals I bought in 2002.
It’s Tom Ford for Gucci Fall 2002.
I still believe ,it was one of his best collections. One of the best fashion collections of the 21 century generally so far. I would wear every piece even now.
But this postcard I bought at Helmut Newton Foundation in Berlin only 2 years ago.
It’s the image from US Vogue that made me to buy theses shoes than.
We can’t buy our dreams, but we still keep paying for the parts of them.
I keep the sandals and the postcard in the same box.

There you will find an interesting selection of “new wave” designers, nice interior and atmosphere and the most amazing sales people and service. I really enjoyed just talking to the girls in the shops and found out many new brands that I didn’t know before. For example Shine Blossom, a completely new french brand that tailors leather bags and accessories exclusively in luxurious colored and vintage leathers. Thanks Ingrid for that!
Design Work, Yoga Design
I’ve been addicted to fashion for years and now I’m getting addicted to Yoga. Being a practical person, I’ve managed to get both my addiction together and developed a special interests on yoga clothes.
Next month my students at Westerdals and me are starting to work on the development of the brand spatial strategy for the new Norwegian label Run&Relax. So far I’m little bit following the brands with longer experience on the market.

Design Work, Conversation with Magazine DEKO
In summer, while I was in Riga, I met the editor-in-chief of Latvian Interior magazine DEKO Agnese for a conversation about design. We talked about Latvian design, Scandinavian design and how does it feel to be a Latvian designer in Scandinavia.
