Completely everething in this life depends on your intelegence, on your ability to think.
I just love the Alexander Chen’s idea about using a subway as a music instrument.
Maybe because I always have been fascinated by subway maps and maps generally. Every time before I’m going to go to some city , I make my “Design Guide”, drawings maps of the places worth to see. And than I ‘ve a feeling I know the city pretty well, even sometimes I stay only for a couple of days.

One of Philo philosophies has been to subtly reinvent a core group of pieces each season/ the kind of wardrobe staples that she wears herself. “There’s a classsicism and beauty to it, ” she says- ” Why change it?”
“All the houses that still have their integrity and stands for codes have that way of working, “ she adds. “The idea of fast fashion, and everething always having to be new, can lead to nothing other than a whole load of confusion. I don’t feel a need for that in the way I dress- and I think lots of other women feel the same way.”
She had an interview with LVMH Fashion’s president Pierre-Yves Roussel about establishing her own -named brand, but instead of it she’s got Celine. The Phoebe Files in Vogue March 2013

And, yes, I buy Carven. Because you can buy it. Because it’s fresh. And fresh is not question of age, it’s a question of identity.
These are sandals I bought in 2002.
It’s Tom Ford for Gucci Fall 2002.
I still believe ,it was one of his best collections. One of the best fashion collections of the 21 century generally so far. I would wear every piece even now.
But this postcard I bought at Helmut Newton Foundation in Berlin only 2 years ago.
It’s the image from US Vogue that made me to buy theses shoes than.
We can’t buy our dreams, but we still keep paying for the parts of them.

I love the way commercial interior goes nowadays: everething is really about concepts. The borders between retail design and commercial interior don’t exist anymore.
